Energo Labs hosted the first meeting of the Asian Clean Tech Entrepeneurs Community (ACTEC) on Friday, 11th August in Shanghai, China. The event was the inaugural kick-off meeting for the community, and was honoured to invite several industry leaders and students from across China.
The event had four speakers: COO of Energo Labs, KaiKai Yang; Head of China of Bloomberg New Energy Finance, Sophie Lu; Director of Partnerships (Asia-Pacific) of New Energy Nexus, Andrew Chang; and Founder of Power Lab, Yuan Ying. The keynote speeches were followed by a panel discussion after which participants got the opportunity to advertise their own start-ups and job postings as well as network with like-minded entrepreneurs.
ACTEC is an initiative we hope to launch in Asia to establish an entrepreneurial network focused on technological innovations for sustainable development and environmental protection. The community ignites the dialogue on Asia’s role in technology, environment, and entrepreneurship.
Plans are underway to host similar meet-ups in other cities in China and other parts of Asia, including Beijing and Bangkok.
